Pang Fan 庞 凡
a.k.a Fansack

China b.1988

Chengdu-born, French-educated Pang Fan (aka Fansack) is one of China’s most prolific and recognizable urban artists. As a pioneer of graffiti art in China since the early 2000s and a former apprentice to legendary Paris-based painter Cyril Kongo, Fansack earned an undergraduate degree in Visual Arts from the University of Marseilles and masters of Fine Arts from Sorbonne University.

Visually striking, his work infuses contemporary Pop and Urban Art aesthetics with more ancient oriental sensibilities, creating a rich and deeply layered universe that explores elements of traditional Eastern and Western philosophies, religion, and science. In doing so, Fansack not only provides a bridge between cultures, but also belief systems around the world- with his murals, paintings, and sculptures previously displayed throughout the cosmopolitan streets of Paris and Hong Kong as well as the most remote and holy temples of Tibet.

Internationally recognized, Fansack’s artwork is ultimately a journey to the heart of human desire, and a love-letter to our aspirations to move beyond.
